Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez, a Mexican-American performer and actress, is quite famous. She was raised by her mom in the USA she had to face a lot of racial taunts which gave her feeling of being unwelcome. In her 9th grade when she began to gain confidence after being highly praised during an audition. The experience not only increased her confidence but altered the direction of her professional career. She was a graduate of New York's Julliard School at the age of 22. As she was turning 23, she started her professional career in Broadway with Paul Simon's The Capeman. Then, when she was 23 her first film debut was You've got mail. The biggest accomplishment of her career occurred with her portrayal of The Lady Of The Lake on Spamalot's original Broadway production. In addition to being the only actress to get the Tony Award, but her performance was also praised by critics. The following year, she was cast in the ABC show Grey's Anatomy as Dr. Callie Torres and gained wider acceptance for the role. Apart from being a popular singer, she has released two solo albums and an extended piece. Additionally, she works as an LGBT activist.
