Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy, born 13 June 1962 in the US, is an actor. She made her acting debut as an actress in Bad Boys in 1983. Since then, she's appeared in WarGames from 1985. She also appeared in The Breakfast Club in 1986, and Short Circuit in 1986. Her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998) Sheedy won an Independent Spirit Award for Best Female lead. Ally Sheedy's is both an American actor and a writer. Her movie career started in early 1980s when she starred as a character actress for the crime-drama film, Bad Boys. Rick Rosenthal was the director of the film with other actors equally prominent, including Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. Her first success led her to appear in The Breakfast Club, a comedy-drama in 1985. John Hughes' film is thought to be among the top high school film of all-time. Even though the budget was $1 million its earnings crossed $50 million. The actress also appeared on a number of television shows like CBS Schoolbreak. This was her first TV appearance. The show was for teenagers that started airing beginning in April 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues are other programs on TV where she was featured. Recent appearances of Sheedy includes Little Sister as well as X-Men Apocalypse, a movie featuring a hero in which Sheedy appears as a guest. Her incredible performances have earned her numerous awards including an MTV Movie Award of Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
